Why I Built Eleviq
Fifteen years in HR will teach you things no textbook ever could.
Where it started
I spent most of that time at S&P Global, a Fortune 500 company with 35,000 people spread across the globe. I worked across Asia Pacific and Latin America, partnered with senior leaders on decisions that affected thousands of employees, and built HR functions in countries I had to learn from scratch. Argentina. The Philippines. Pakistan. Twelve-plus jurisdictions, all with their own rules, their own culture, and their own complexity.
The problem I kept running into
Every time I landed in a new country, I faced the same problem. Trying to find reliable, practical information online was exhausting. Labour law, HR best practices, real guidance that actually applied to the situation in front of me. It was always scattered, always buried, always harder to find than it should have been.
That frustration is what became Eleviq.
There was no single place where a practitioner could go, find what they needed, and trust it. No free tools. No applied guidance for students. No resource that kept professionals current on what was changing in the world of work. I had to piece everything together myself, every single time.
What you will find here
Eleviq is built for anyone who works, leads, or studies in the world of work. Practical articles from real experience. Free tools you can actually use. Labor law information that helps you have more informed conversations, make better decisions, and understand the rules of the game wherever you work. And The Eleviq Brief, a newsletter that keeps you current on what is shaping the profession so you are never behind in a conversation that matters.
A final word
It is not perfect yet. But the purpose is clear, and I will keep building. More articles, more tools, more resources as time goes on. Welcome. — Taimur Nadeem Founder, Eleviq
